Admissions 2015-16

Admissions are going on for classes Pre KG to 10th for the academic year 2015-16. The academic year begins on 1st April, 2015 for classes 1 to 10.

Unity Day Celebration

In our school Morning assembly, Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Pledge was taken by the children after that children mark the run for Unity. They formed a human chain and walked around the ground. Activities like making posters, paintings, collage were conducted on topics i.e unity, safety and cleanliness. A team debate was organized among the students of classes IX and X on the topic “Socio Cultural Diversity in India is considered to be the strength of the Nation”.

Annual Day

We celebrated our 7th Annual Day on Saturday, 24th January 2015.Mrs & Mr. B.V. Ramanan, Chairman and Managing Director, Livia Polymer Pvt. Ltd. graced the occasion and he appreciated the students with the General Proficiency Award. The CEO, CARE group of institutions Mr. Prative Chend and Ms. Aarthy Nehru, CEO CARE International School honoured the chief guest. A colourful cultural programme was presented on the theme-“Window to the world” by all the students of CARE International School.

Sports Day

The 7th Annual Sports meet was celebrated successfully on 20th December 2014. Lt.Col. SATISH KUMAR, Chief Security Officer, HAPP, Ministry of Defence, along with his wife presided over the function as chief guest of the event. The event started with the flag hoisting followed by March past and lighting of the Olympic torch. The air was filled with excitement as our students performed various events.The nursery and primary students showcased various track and group events. Yoga, cycle pyramid, skating and karate were few of the mesmerizing displays of the day. Sun House bagged the overall trophy.  

Dental & Eye Checkup

A Dental and Eye checkup was arranged for the students from PreKG to Class X on 24th and 25th October 2014 and it was conducted by the Doctors and Staff of Vasan Eye Care and Vasan Dental Care. Recommendations were made for the students where problem in the vision, tooth & gums were detected.

Teachers’ Day Celebration

“A teacher takes a hand,opens a mind and touches a heart” To celebrate such a Hero, on the beautiful morning of 5th september,Teachers day was celebrated with great pomp and splendor in our school campus. The day began with the students greeting their teachers with roses and cards and chocolates. The cultural events began with a prayer and a ” Happy Teachers’ Day” song by the primary students. Students presented an array of cultural events and it was followed by a surprise event of “treasure hunt” organized by the senior students which sent the teachers running amuck in all directions...

Social Science Exhibition

Social science Exhibition has been organized on  20th August 2014 by our Social Science Department at our school. The children of classes 6,7&8 took an active participation. The children were split into groups and each grade given a part of History based on their standard. While class 6th dealt with the Prehistoric period, class 7th the Medieval history of India and class 8th shared their part in Modern History. The class 6th children presented models of art and architecture,coins, jewelry, charts on the cave paintings, Indus & Harappan Valley Civilization and the early kings like Ashoka and Pallava. Independence Day Celebration

We paid homage to countless freedom fighters as we celebrated the 67th Independence Day. The students of our school were filled with patriotism and love for the country. Our school presented mélange of patriotic activities which created an atmosphere of national pride. Patriotism was evident in the air when our primary kids presented songs and dances.Inter house competitions on various freedom struggle movement and invigorating  speeches were presented by our senior students. All the plays traced the atrocities and difficult times faced by our countrymen before India finally won freedom at midnight on August 15, 1947. Jai Hind!

Field Trip to Rice Mill

On 6th August, students of std V to X were taken on a field trip to the SNR Rice Mill located in Poovalur dist, near Lalgudi. At the mill, kids learned about the process of making rice right from procurement to packing. To further their knowledge they were taken to the nearby rice field to study about different types of paddy sown and the soil types and the process of growing the paddy.

Field Trip to the Deer Park

The students of the primary section were taken on a field trip to the BHEL Deer Park on the 6th August 2014. At the park the children enjoyed watching the Deer and some of the kids offered some leaves to the Deer and fed them. They really enjoyed this interaction with the animal and were so excited when the deer started eating out of their hands.
