Our school promotes the qualities of leadership by holding elections in the school and electing the students body which comprises of head boy, head girl and various other posts. This year the election was held on 13th June, 2019 and the results was declared on 17th June, 2019. On 22nd June 2019 we had the formal swearing in ceremony or investiture ceremony where by the newly elected leaders took charge.

INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY 2019
We celebrated the International Yoga day in the school campus, in which students from classes I to XII participated. The teachers also did the simple yoga mudras taught by the special yoga instructors. Yoga is part of our daily life and yoga is imparted and performed by our children on every Wednesday as a part of the stay healthy concept. This year we have also decided to eat right and stay healthy.

TEACHING MATHAMATICS WITH MANUPULATIVE A workshop on “Teaching mathematics with manipulative” was conducted by Ms. Meena Suresh, Director of Ramanujan & Math Education centre on 19th June, 2019 in Breeze Residency, Trichy. Ms. S. Sathiyakumari and Ms. Vijayabala Ma’am attended the work shop.

CBSE CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAM: ENGLISH LANGUAGE IMPROVEMENT PLAN
Our English teachers recently attended a two day workshop on English Language Improvement plan at Madurai. They attended the workshop at Om Sadhana Central School, Viratipattu, Madurai. The resource person was Ms. Susmitha Roy Chowdhary, Principal, Kalpavruksha Model School, Karnataka.

KINDERGARTEN: PARENT’S ORIENTATION PROGRAM
Parents orientation program for kindergarten parents was organized on 15th June, 2019.The objective of this orientation program was to provide the parents an insight into the curriculum, rules and regulations of the school, teaching methodologies and the Co-scholastic activities. The session commenced with morning prayers, hymns and a short welcome address by our Primary Coordinator Ms. Sowmya. PARENT’S ORIENTATION PROGRAM
Parent Orientation program was conducted on 7th of June. It is a tradition of the school to welcome the new parents and to help their kids adapt easily to the CARE’s way of learning. The principal of the school addresses the parents and elaborates the vision of the school, teaching learning processes, evaluation and the last year’s progress of our school. The principal also briefs on the upcoming programs and events and session closes with an interactive question and answer session with the parents.
TEACHER’S ENRICHMENT PROGRAM IN-HOUSE WORKSHOPS
An elaborate in-house training program was conducted for the teachers. WORK SHOP ON FINANCIAL EDUCATION FOR MIDDLE INCOME GROUP
In order to help teacher’s manage money, National Institute of Securities Markets conducted a workshop on Financial Education for Middle Income Group. It was held in the Conference hall, CARE Arts and Science College, Trichy. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Jayabalan S.N. Financial Education Trainer, Southern Regional Office, Chennai.
