From 29th to 31st May, we had a high end accelerated workshop for our teachers, conducted by Ms. Devika Nadig and Mr. Vijay Gupta, an alumnus of IIT Kanpur and IIM Bangalore and founders of Shikshangan Educational Initiatives.
The 3 day workshop dealt with Bringing Critical thinking into classrooms, Sharpening the Pedagogical skills, Habits of Mind and Growth Mindset and How to build high performing schools. Through the session, trainers highlighted how the change in pedagogies and mindset will lead to better learning and retention. They also touched upon the mind maps and use of graphics to heighten retention.
This three-day workshop was excellent and gave lot of information to teachers , hands on practice
and one of the best exposures to methodology to be followed to achieve learning outcomes.
