CARE’s vision is to prepare the students for the rapidly changing world by equipping them with critical thinking skills and to provide a global perspective. It is with this vision, we have brought MUN to our school. Through this initiative, our students are tasked with solving a global issue through research, drafting, lobbying and debate to pass a suitable ‘resolution’.
Students take on the roles of delegates, speakers, and chairs, representing different countries and work together with other students from different backgrounds to take part in discussions and reach a solution for the agenda they are assigned.
To truly model the UN,under the formal ‘Rules of procedure’ the delegates discuss and deliberate the real world issues.
Over the last 3 years, we have impacted more than 1000 students and 20 different schools through this initiative.
