YSS
The Young Scientist Search (YSS) inter-school competition was held on 19th July, wlcoming enthusiastic participation from various CBSE schools across Trichy. Designed for students from grades 4 to 12, the competition featured activities tailored to different age groups, encouraging creativity, innovation and scientific thinking.
The event aimed to nurture curiosity and develop a scientific temperament among students through engaging STEM-based challenges. From hands-on experiments to problem-solving tasks, each activity pushed participants to think critically and apply scientific concepts in practical ways.
The Chief Guest for the event was Dr. Sriram Kumar, Professor, Department of ECE, NIT Trichy. Besides addressing the gathering, he also served as the judge for the “Head Trip” competition, where students designed and built functional boats using the materials provided, an exciting test of creativity and engineering skill.
Our school proudly emerged as the Overall Winner, reflecting the exceptional talent, dedication and innovative skills of our students. The competition not only provided a platform for showcasing scientific abilities but also inspired young minds to explore and experiment fearlessly. Through such initiatives, students gained valuable experience, confidence and a deeper appreciation for the world of science.
