Our school joyfully celebrated Pongal on 13th January, turning the campus into a vibrant display of tradition and culture. The classrooms were beautifully decorated with colorful Pongal-themed elements and a decoration competition added excitement and creativity to the celebration.
Students arrived in traditional attire, spreading festive cheer and cultural pride. The children enthusiastically participated in traditional games, which brought laughter, teamwork and great joy. The rhythmic beats of folk music set the stage for lively group dances, where students danced together with energy and happiness.
Teachers guided the children to understand the significance of Pongal as a festival of gratitude, harvest, and togetherness. The celebration created a perfect blend of learning and enjoyment, allowing students to connect with their roots while making wonderful memories with friends.
It was truly a delightful day filled with colors, smiles and cultural spirit, making the Pongal celebration a memorable experience for everyone at our school.
