INDIAN INTERNATIONAL SCIENCE FESTIVAL 2018

Some our students had a privilege to participate in the highly acclaimed ” Indian International Science Festival” conducted by the Government of India in Lucknow.
The theme of this festival is “Reaching the un reached” with focus on use of science for transformation. Students came from various states across India. Around 3 lakh people participated in this festival in various events. As part of the festival, our students participated in Science Village- 2018. Our students presented a paper on adoption of Kuttapattau Village and developing the same. Our students represented a village adopted by a Member of Parliament, Trichy and presented a poster on the future development in the village using scientific methods.

Our students had  an opportunity to interact with scientists and were part of hands on project, innovative experiments, workshop on scientific instruments, watched science films, saw celestial bodies/objects in the night sky, visited some research and development laboratories in Lucknow.

This festival helped in grooming the student delegates to become tomorrow’s scientists and technocrats of India. They also visited mega science Expo which had 900 stalls by AICTE, Brahmos Aerospace, National Mission for clean Ganga, Cochin Shipyard Ltd., RDSO, Ministry of Railway etc.
It was a comprehensive show of scientific, technological and industrial program displaying the achievements of India.

We take this opportunity to thank the Member of Parliament  Hon.Mr. P. Kumar, for supporting our school students and the management for their strong support and help in providing such a unique chance and platform for our students.
