FIELD TRIP: VARIOUS PLACES OF WORSHIP
India is a Secular country. All religion is given equal respect and status in our country. This is value which needs to be imbibed in the children at a very young age only then they are able to develop tolerance for diversity.On sept, 7th, the Kindergarten children were taken to various places of worship; temple, mosque and church. Students were told stories from different beliefs and how people are living happily inspite of their difference. The father at the church, the priest at the temple, the mulavi at the mosque told them about the shrines and asked them to preserve the teachings in these religious books. It was a nice experience for the children and they enjoyed seeing the variations in all these religious places. The trip was a fun filled learning experience for the students. It was a beautiful experience and the children thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
