“Learning doesn’t happen only in schools and with textbooks, learning happens when we connect with the real life situations. Therefore to boost up analytical skill, application skill and leadership quality of our students, the school took them on a 7 day study tour to Odisha.
Along the journey the student visited Sun temple and Jagannath Temple and admired the art and architecture of the places. Opportunity to see some of the endangered and rare species of plants and animals in largest zoo in India – Nandankanan which spread over 4500 acres of land.
Finally it was an interesting, informative, fun-filled, exiting and an eye opening journey to the land of wonders. The minute architectural style taught us that anything is possible with hard work and focus.
A complete day was spent on understanding the landforms made by the sea waves and rivers at their mouth. The most exciting part of the visit was boating in the largest saltwater lake in the world and watching dolphins and fisher folks at work in the lake.
The entire trip was not only exacting but also and enriching one. This trip helped students of grade 6 to 10 to develop their social and thinking skill.
