Vande Mataram!
Care International School celebrated the 70th Independence Day in the school premises. All the students from KG to class X were part of the celebration. The celebration started off with the prayer song followed by group songs and group dances by primary students. Students of KG classes presented a fancy dress show on freedom fighters of India and spoke about the significance of the national symbols. The students of class 8 performed a wonderful skit on the great sacrifices made by the leaders of our country to get freedom. As a part of the celebrations teachers also joined hands to sing a patriotic group song and the Tamil teacher spoke on the topic “Dreams of Bharathiyar”. Students of classes V, VI and VII spoke on the importance of celebrating the Day. Thus the fever of patriotism & zeal thronged children’s mind as the Principal addressed the gathering on the duties of a citizen and the respect we have to pay to our country and the freedom fighters.
