With no defined expectations or outcomes, this lab engages each child to explore and imagine. Imagination is the ability to form a mental image of something that is not there. Creative play also helps children develop their social and emotional abilities. The abilities to think symbolically and abstractly are the basic building blocks of creativity and intelligence. Creative play also helps children develop their social and emotional abilities and it also helps build cognitive skills. Students starting from 2 years of age up to 5 years are encouraged to participate in this play.
